On June 25–26, 2026, a significant two-day training seminar titled "Legal Protection of Patent Law Objects in the Republic of Kazakhstan," organized by Kazpatent, took place in the city of Almaty.
Specialists from the Commercialization Center of M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University participated in the event, successfully enhancing their knowledge in the field of intellectual property and patent law.
During the two-day seminar, the participants discussed the following relevant topics:
Legal protection of scientific projects and inventions;
Effective pathways to obtaining international and domestic patents;
Commercialization and bringing the works of university scientists to the market.
